EV

We bought a VW Bug for $500 with the intention to convert it into an EV. I took a specific EV conversion class in preperation for the project. From the class I learned that to achieve a street legal conversion with enough range and speed was going to be ~ $75,000.00. The majority of the project cost was in the batteries. We canceled the project and sold the Bug for scrap. I learned the importance of planning and cost estimation on complex projects.
